November and December, 2025 the Trust has commissioned rubbish removal from the site. Also removal of diseased trees. To conform to the protected site status of the moat, the felled trees have to be removed from the site.

Also an interpretation board is be prepared and will be erected on completion.

Presently it is best to avoid the site (December 2025) as the tree felling is in progress and there are pieces of wood amongst the rubbish that has exposed nails.
